The mid-year meeting of the WHO Family of International Classifications (WHO-FIC) Network took place in Stellenbosch, South Africa from June 24 – 29 June, 2017. The South African Medical Research Council and Stellenbosch University hosted the meetings of the Functioning and Disability Reference Group (FDRG), the Family Development Committee (FDC), and International Classification of Health Interventions (ICHI).

Dr. Michaela Coenen, as representative of the ICF Research Branch, a cooperation partner within the WHO Collaboration Centre for the Family of International Classifications in Germany (at DIMDI) presented an update on the ICF e-Learning Tool at the FDRG meeting (see also http://ihrs-en.ibe.med.uni-muenchen.de/biopsychosocial/currend-projects/icf_elearning/index.html). A field testing of this tool was announced at the 2nd International Symposium ICF Education which took place in Cape Town at June 30, 2017. The field testing started in September 2017.
